finally feeling like home
as many of you know, i've been having kind of a hard time adjusting back to life in california. but finally, finally, i think i'm back to normal. my roommate, ryan, and i had a dinner party the other night with some friends from pepperdine and it was a nice way to force ourselves to actually finish putting together all the ikea stuff we bought. and our friend david, brought us some flowers which, once they were in the middle of the table, i realized really make a place feel like home.
then last night pepperdine, usc, and ucla hosted a mixer in santa monica. although, i didn't meet too many usc/ucla folks, it was a nice way to reconnect with a lot of p'dine people.
i think this is home, once again. and it feels nice.

At first I thought you were drinking some kind of Southern Californian health drink -- like blended grass. But then I realized it was just a lime in something clear like water.
glad you are feeling at home- love the table and flowers in wine bottle.
aww, so cute. (meaning, your apartment and you) tell ryan i say hi. i hope i can still come out and visit before you leave.
