picking up where i left off....sort of

so i debated for a long time with myself whether or not i would keep blogging. and if so, should i use the malibukaddie account or the copenhagenkaddie account? obviously i chose this one. i have had a bit of a rough start to my semester and i have kind of felt like my heart and my head are still in copenhagen, so maybe it's more appropriate that i keep going on that one. looking back at the malibukaddie blog, i realized that i have changed quite a bit since that time and also that i have done so much and gone through so much since then and it just makes more sense to keep going from the path i was already on and not try to make a connection between the past and the present. maybe it's just my mind's way of being lazy...

and we also know that i'm not so good at filling in when i haven't posted for a while, but in a nutshell, here's what's been going on:

• moved back to k.c. from copenhagen for about 3 weeks
• it was nice to be home, but i didn't really have even one day to just "rest"
• the holidays were great, although busy
• got to see lots of people i hadn't seen in a while and it was nice to catch up
• bought a new car - 2004 honda accord coupe. and i love her more and more each day.
• drove across kansas, oklahoma, texas, new mexico and arizona to get back to california with my very dear friend amanda...and i got the flu.
• the flu sucks
• had to move everything while being sick which was horrible. but thank the lord for amanda!
• getting back to school was a lot harder/more transition than i anticipated
• my computer crashed and i lost all my music, office episodes, and (most sad of all) pictures
• but i got a new one...a mac...and i love her more and more each day!
• starting to get settled into life. my roommate is awesome and him and i are having a dinner party tomorrow night with some old classmates from last year and i'm super excited.

ok, so i am making no promises about the blogging. but to keep checking in, just use this account....for now anyway. oh, and one more thing...i'm starting the job search process...so wish me luck and let me know if anyone has any ad agency or brand management leads. and yes, i do apparently like to use bullets in my posts.
